Can you bring snus and nicotine pouches to France?
Travellers may not bring snus or nicotine pouches into France. None for oral nicotine products: importation and possession are prohibited outright since 1 April 2026. The general tobacco allowance from outside the EU is 200 cigarettes or 250 g of smoking tobacco, but oral tobacco may not be sold or distributed in France. Selling nicotine pouches in France is banned and selling tobacco snus is banned.
